We provide cleaning, repair and replacement services for sousas, trumpets and other brasswinds in the Central Texas area. Whenever possible, we pick up and drop off your horn at your location for customers in Austin.

We understand that even the most pampered machines get banged up when they leave the house and the impact can be more than just cosmetic. Even minor dents can pressure the valve casings into conflict with the valves, for example.

A basic overhaul involves cleaning, a chemical bath to remove lime scale and other deposits that build up over time, replacing waterkey corks, buffing tuning slide surfaces, checking valve alignment and replacing valve corks and felts as needed.

Dent work is quoted up front at (our hourly rate) x (estimated time) and that fixes the price. If we go over that time, the overage is on us. No surprises.

We can also touch-up silver plating by brush-plating. It is applied electrochemically in the same manner as when your horn was plated in a tank and is a much less involved option than a full teardown and replating. It is a very good touch-up or refresh option to maintain the protective finish on your horn without requiring a complete rebuild.
